ModernEDI ("we," "our," or "us") provides a self-serve EDI platform for hosted AS2 connectivity, X12 mapping, transaction visibility, and related workspace operations. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through our website, the ModernEDI application, support communications, account registration, and service operation.
Information We Collect
Website and Inquiry Information
- Name, email address, phone number, company name, and message content you provide to us.
- Basic website usage information, browser details, device information, IP address, and server logs.
- Information from pricing, implementation, support, or sales inquiries.
Account and Workspace Information
- Account registration details, workspace names, managed hostnames, billing contacts, and administrative contacts.
- User profile data such as name, email address, role, workspace membership, and authentication identifiers.
- Login, session, security, password reset, invitation, and account recovery events.
- Billing status, plan selection, subscription identifiers, checkout status, and related payment-provider metadata.
EDI, AS2, and Mapping Information
- Trading partner configuration, AS2 identifiers, endpoint hostnames, certificate metadata, and mapping settings.
- EDI and AS2 transaction metadata such as message identifiers, timestamps, partner names, document types, acknowledgements, MDNs, map results, and operational status.
- Payloads, certificates, mapping source, and transaction details that customers submit to or process through the platform.
Email and Support Information
- Transactional email delivery metadata, including delivery, bounce, complaint, suppression, and verification signals.
- Support requests, troubleshooting details, attachments, and related correspondence.
How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the ModernEDI platform.
- Create workspaces, manage access, authenticate users, and support account recovery.
- Provision AS2 endpoints, certificates, partner settings, mappings, queues, transaction history, and related service infrastructure.
- Send transactional account, security, billing, support, and service-operation email.
- Respond to inquiries and support requests.
- Monitor availability, diagnose errors, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the platform.
- Maintain billing, business, security, and compliance records.
We do not sell personal information.
Service Providers
We use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, logging, monitoring, security, billing, analytics, and customer support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to ModernEDI.
Customer Content
EDI payloads, mapping source, partner configuration, certificates, and transaction records are handled as customer content. We use customer content to provide and support the service, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, and meet legal or operational obligations.
Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support customers, maintain business and security records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Some information may need to be retained for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.
