ModernEDI is a self-serve X12 EDI platform operated by SEMR LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. It combines hosted AS2, mapping, transaction visibility, and a public Integration API.
Why ModernEDI exists
Technical teams should be able to inspect an EDI document, understand a mapping, onboard a partner, and investigate a failed transaction without sending every routine change through a services queue. ModernEDI is designed around that direct ownership model.
Evaluate the product before you buy
We think you should be able to understand the product and price before you commit. That is why the live X12 mapper is available without signup, the API documentation is public, and pricing is shown before checkout. A paid workspace lets your team save and publish maps, configure hosted partner connections, and operate live traffic.
Self-serve does not mean unsupported
Teams can run the product directly and still ask for help interpreting a partner's AS2, network, identifier, and certificate requirements; configuring the workspace; troubleshooting product behavior; or planning a rollout. Our target for an initial response is within two business days, Monday through Friday, US Central Time.
Full map authoring, downstream-system implementation, and ongoing project management are not included in self-serve plans. We may offer additional help case by case, and Enterprise support or implementation commitments are defined in the applicable order form.
